During a panel at the New York Comic-Con, it was revealed that the Hulu/Star Original animated series, “Solar Opposites”, has been renewed for a fifth season.

Disney recently released a Halloween special as part of the third season, and the fourth season will be coming to Hulu and to Disney+ around the world next year, so it will be a while until we get the fifth season.

Co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Mike McMahan (Star Trek: Lower Decks), “Solar Opposites” centres on a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism and human frailty, while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.

The animated comedy is executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel and is produced by 20th Television Animation.

The first three seasons of “Solar Opposites” are available to stream now on Hulu in the US and on Disney+ around the world.
