Following the news that “Station 19” would end after the seventh season, which returns in March 2024, the cast and crew behind the series have been taking to social media to share their thoughts on the show coming to a close.

“Station 19” follows a group of heroic Seattle firefighters as they put their lives and hearts on the line. From the executive producers of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away with Murder,” the series takes us inside the tough, tight-knit and sometimes heartbreaking world of the city’s bravest first responders.

The show’s executive producer, Shonda Rhimes, shared her thanks to everyone working on the show:

Grateful for an unforgettable run. A heartfelt salute to the exceptional cast whose brilliance brought the characters to life and to the viewers who continued to make it possible! Thank you for the magic, the moments, and the memories. #station19

Also Jana Lee Ortiz, who plays the lead role of Andy Herrera in the show, took to Instagram to say:

“Still processing this… The love runs so deep. Thank you, Shonda.”

The series is going to return for ten more episodes in 2024 due to the actor’s and writer’s strikes.  ABC is also making a scheduling change, placing “Station 19” after “Grey’s Anatomy”, so the next season won’t cross over as much as it has done in the past.

The previous six seasons of “Station 19” on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and internationally on Disney+ around the world.
