“Sherlock” Coming Soon To Hulu & Hulu On Disney+
Disney has announced that the popular British drama series, “Sherlock Holmes”, based on the popular books by Sir Conan Doyle, will be coming soon to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on Tuesday, 26th March 2024.
Sherlock Holmes is updated for a new generation with Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role and Martin Freeman as Watson. The combination of Sherlock’s intellect and Watson’s pragmatism helps them forge an unbreakable alliance as they solve a series of baffling crimes together..
The series also stars Rupert Graves, Andrew Scott, Una Stubbs, Louise Brealey and Amanda Abbington.
Since its debut in 2010, the show has won several Primetime Emmys, BAFTAs, and a Peabody Award, and has been nominated for numerous other Emmys and a Golden Globe. At the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards, Cumberbatch won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie, Freeman won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie, and Moffat won Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Dramatic Special.
“Sherlock” is written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, and inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock is produced by Sue Vertue and the executive producers are Beryl Vertue, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat for Hartswood Films, Bethan Jones for BBC Cymru Wales and Rebecca Eaton for Masterpiece. It is distributed internationally by BBC Worldwide.
All four seasons, each of which consists of three feature-length episodes, will be released at once.
If you haven’t seen this series before, I’d very much recommend adding it to your watchlist as its easily one of my favourite shows of all time.
