“Secrets Of The Bees” Coming Soon To Disney+, Hulu & Nat Geo
Following on from the success of the documentaries, “Secrets Of The Elephants”, “Secrets Of The Whales”, “Secrets Of The Octopus” and “Secrets Of The Penguins”, National Geographic’s next instalment takes a look at the secret world of bees.
In this series, National Geographic Explorer, Bertie Gregory, explores the extraordinary lives of bees, which are among the planet’s most important animals. Over three years, special cameras opened a rare window into a single hive, revealing its hidden world. With more than 20,000 bee species pollinating one-third of the world’s food, this series uncovers their astonishing architecture and intelligence, unlocking their secrets.
The two-episode series consists of:
- “The Hive” – Bertie Gregory uncovers the hidden world of bees and their extraordinary talents. Follow the life of a single bee as her family races toward winter.
“The Pollinators” – The honeybee hive is recovering and preparing for winter, but what are the threats bees face worldwide, and how can humanity help them survive?
The two-part series will premiere on March 31st at 8/7 on the National Geographic and National Geographic WILD linear channels, with it becoming available the next day on Hulu and Disney+. No international Disney+ release date has been announced yet, but expect it to be around the same time to align with Earth Day.
