To tie in with the release of the second season of the original series, “Reasonable Doubt”, Hollywood Records has released the soundtrack on digital platforms including Spotify, Amazon and Apple.

The soundtrack features original music composed by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Adrian Younge has previously and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

Younge speaks on the music, “Reasonable Doubt S2 required music with more emotion due to the emotional twists and turns that take us through this second season. One of my favorite to be a part of was Melanie Charles’ cover of “It’s a Man’s World.”

Ali shares, “The cliffhanger at the end of season one gave Adrian and I the perfect entry point to develop the musical world of season two. Several emotional journeys are colliding among the characters, both collectively and individually.

Raamla Mohamed, the executive producer, wanted the score to highlight these dynamics in a way that gave space to each character’s individual experiences, as well as the moments when their paths intertwine.

The storyline involving domestic violence, particularly as it unfolds in Shanelle’s case, was gut-wrenching to witness. It was crucial to craft a score that not only supported Shanelle’s emotional journey but also stayed grounded in the legal drama, as our fearless defense attorneys, Jax Stewart and Corey Cash, meticulously navigate the trial.”
