With the start of a new month, unfortunately, this results in some films being removed from Disney+ in the United States due to contracts made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox. And Disney has kicked off October by removing “Ramona and Beezus” from Disney+ in the United States again.

The film tells the story of Ramona, who is a little girl with a very big imagination and a nose for mischief. Her playful antics keep everyone in her loving family on their toes, including her older sister Beezus, who’s just trying to survive her first year of high school. Through all the ups and downs of childhood, Ramona and Beezus learn that anything’s possible when you believe in yourself and rely on each other.

This isn’t the first time that the film has been removed from Disney+ in the US, as it was previously removed in April 2021 and returned about 18 months later.  So, the good news is that it will return once the film has completed its contract with another streaming service. But, unfortunately, we don’t know when that will be, but it’s likely to be at least a year.   Expect “Ramona and Beezus” to be added to either Starz or Max in November, as, unfortunately, it’s a little too early to know where it will go.

Disney+, unlike other streaming services doesn’t inform subscribers in advance whenever a title is going to be removed, so it’s usually not known it’s leaving until it’s gone.   Internationally, “Ramona and Beezus” is still available on Disney+.
