Just ahead of the return of “Puppy Dog Pals” for its fourth season on the Disney Channel on Friday, October 23rd.   Disney has announced the popular animated series has been picked up for a fifth season.

The show tells the story of some fun-loving pug puppies, who are brothers called Bingo and Rolly, who have thrill-seeking appetites that take them on exhilarating adventures in their neighborhood and around the globe. Whether helping their owner Bob, assisting a friend in need or exploring with their pal Keia, the pugs’ motto is that life is more exciting with your best friend by your side. Each episode features two 11-minute stories that showcase Bingo and Rolly’s similarities and differences while demonstrating positive lessons about friendship, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity and adventure.

Extensions for the series include storybooks from Disney Press, DVDs from Walt Disney Studios and music releases on major streaming platforms from Walt Disney Records. Plush toys, costumes, accessories and apparel are available at the Disney store, shopDisney.com and retailers nationwide.

The fifth season will be executive produced by Michael Olson and Sean Coyle will serve as consulting producer

The first two seasons of “Puppy Dog Pals” are available on Disney+ now.   The third season is coming to an end next week on the Disney Junior channel, so shouldn’t be too long until it’s added to Disney+.
