Disney is set to release a new Phineas and Ferb movie called “Candace Against The Universe”, directly onto Disney+ on August 28th.  And it looks like this might not be the end of Phineas and Ferb’s adventures as on the latest episode of the official D23 Inside Podcast, the show’s creators Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and Dan Povenmire, revealed they are in early talks with Disney to create a third Phineas and Ferb film.

The original series continues to be popular on Disney+, appearing in the trending chart regularly and hopefully if viewing figures for the new “Candace Against The Universe” movie are high enough, a deal can be reached for a third movie.

With filming and production shut down due to the Coronavirus, work on the new Phineas and Ferb movie was able to continue from home, which will no doubt be a key issue for future projects, especially as animation has been less affected than live-action productions.

Phineas and Ferb: The Movie “Candace Against The Universe” is coming to Disney+ on August 28th.
