At the recent Disney Investor Day event, a sequel to the smash-hit movie “Enchanted”, was announced, called “Disenchanted”, which will be a Disney+ Original.

The original film was released in 2007 and is set in the fairy-tale land of Andalasia, where a pretty young Giselle frolics with her woodland pals, and falls in love with the handsome Prince Edward, but when Giselle arrives at the castle to marry her Prince Charming, his evil stepmother sends the princess-to-be to a place where there are `no happy ever afters’: New York City. Cynical divorce lawyer Robert Phillip comes to her rescue, but can Giselle find her way back to her true love?

According to the DisInsider, Patrick Dempsey, will be returning as Robert Phillip.  His onscreen daughter, Morgan, will also be returning, though no casting has yet been found.  Disney is also looking for an actress to play a new villain in the film.
