Disney has announced a new National Geographic documentary called “Operation Arctic Cure”, will be released on Disney+ in Canada on the National Geographic channel on Friday, 17th May 2024.

In this documentary, war reporter Bob Woodruff leads veterans on an Arctic expedition to test a cure for post-traumatic stress and depression: the experience of AWE in nature. As they trek across one of the world’s most dramatic and pristine wildernesses, researchers monitor changes to their physical and emotional well-being. Could this be the medicine they’ve been looking for?

The team of veterans confront their inner demons and travel through some breathtaking locations and highlights the struggles of these brave men and women.

This team is guided by experts and therapists while being tested with a groundbreaking cure as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and redemption.

This documentary has previously been released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
