The third season of “Only Murders In The Building” is coming to our screens later this summer, and the show follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building, which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.

Over the weekend, Martin Short and Steve Martin revealed during their “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!” touring show at the Walt Disney Theater. Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Flordia, that the upcoming third season will be returning on Tuesday, 8th August 2023.

Variety is reporting that the duo were talking about the show on the stage, showing a photo of them with alongside their co-stars Selena Gomez, Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd. Martin Short said:

“Catch the new season August 8. Our show is like Steve trying to pee — it streams for 33 minutes.”

“Only Murders in the Building” has been created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman (“Grace & Frankie,” “Looking”). Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.

The first two seasons of “Only Murders In The Building” are available to stream on Hulu in the United States, on Star+ on Latin America and on Disney+ around the world.
