Disney has announced that the National Geographic series, “Home In The Wild” is coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, 31st May 2023.

The new four-episode series is going to premiere with two episodes on the National Geographic Wild channel in the United States on Tuesday, 2nd May 2023, at 10/9c.  And the series finale will arrive just a week later on May 9th at 10/9c and 10:30/9:30c.

“Home In The Wild”  is about Jim and Tori Baird, who thought their days of professional adventuring were over when their son Wesley was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder. But after learning from doctors that being immersed in nature could positively impact his development, they take Wes and his baby brother on expeditions into the backcountry to see if an off-grid life would be possible and beneficial for their family.

  • The Adventure Begins – Jim and Tori take their young kids on their first overnight canoe trip.

  • Passing the Test – Jim rappels the canoe down a cliff; Tori solos Class III rapids.
  • Swamped – Jim, Tori and the kids get lost in a swamp while canoeing to Island Lake.
  • Are We There Yet? – After getting lost in a swamp, the Bairds finally make it to Island Lake.
