“Once Upon A Time” Officially Moving From Netflix To Disney+ In September
We’ve been speculating on it for months, but today, Disney has confirmed that all seven seasons of the smash-hit ABC series, “Once Upon A Time”, will be coming to Disney+ in the US on Friday, September 18th.
“Once Upon A Time” will be leaving Netflix on September 6th and the first four seasons were recently added to Disney+ in the UK, so expect to start seeing the show rolling out internationally, once existing deals expire.
The series follows a young woman with a troubled past is drawn to a small town in Maine where fairy tales are to be believed. For Emma Swan, life has been anything but a happy ending. But when she’s reunited with Henry – the son she gave up for adoption ten years ago – on the night of her 28th birthday, everything changes. The show features a wide selection of classic Disney characters such as Snow White, Captain Hook, Robin Hood, Elsa, Merida and many more.
At last years Investor Day event, Disney showed a slide that featured “Once Upon A Time” as being available on Disney+, so we knew it would arrive on Disney+ eventually.
