
Olivia Colman To Star In New FX Series Based On Dutch Show “Ulven Kommer”
Disney’s FX is developing a new family drama series that will star Oscar winner, Olivia Colman, who will also executive produce the project.
This untitled one-hour series has been inspired by the Danish show “Ulven Kommer” also known as “Cry Wolf”, which is about a 14-year-old called Holly, who has written a school essay detailing her stepfather’s physical abuse, her parents completely deny the charges. Social worker Lars Madsen, has only a few weeks to find out who is telling the truth.
No other details on the FX show have been revealed, other than Deadline describing it as a sweeping family drama that is both a mystery and thriller.
The show has been created by Sarah Treem, who will also be the showrunner and executive producer. Sarah has previously worked on “The Affair”, “In Treatment” and “House Of Cards”.
Olivia will also be an executive producer on the show. She has previously worked with FX on “Great Expectations” and “The Bear”. She has also appeared in the hit Netflix series, “The Crown” and has teamed with Disney on many other shows and films such as Marvel’s “Secret Invasion” and “The Favourite”.
FX hasn’t officially announced any details on this untitled show, such as when it might be released or who else will star in it.
