“Not Dead Yet” Season 2 Return Date Revealed
With the actor’s strike now resolved, Disney’s ABC has begun scheduling out its winter TV season and announced that the second season of “Not Dead Yet” will be returning with its first episode on ABC on Wednesday, 7th February 2023, with new episodes dropping weekly afterwards. New episodes will be available on Hulu the following day.
The series follows Nell Serrano, a broke and newly single self-described disaster, working to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago. When she lands the only job she can find ― writing obituaries ― Nell starts getting life advice from some unlikely sources, the dead people whose lives she’s writing about.
No more details on the second season have been announced yet, such as who might be making guest appearances as the “ghost” of the week.
“Not Dead Yet” stars Gina Rodriguez as Nell Serrano, Hannah Simone as Sam, Lauren Ash as Lexi, Rick Glassman as Edward, Josh Banday as Dennis and Angela Gibbs as Cricket.
Casey Johnson and David Windsor are the creators and executive producers. Also executive producing is Gina Rodriguez, Dean Holland and Wonderland Sound and Vision’s McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh. The series is produced by 20th Television.
“Not Dead Yet” is also released internationally as a Star Original on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ around the world. No return date has been confirmed for these regions. It’ll be interesting to see if “Not Dead Yet” will be released at the same time as the US schedule or if they’ll hold everything back until they can do a binge-drop once the entire season has aired in the US.
