“Nobody Wants This” Showrunner Jenni Konner Renews Overall Deal With 20th Television

Following the huge success of Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This”, it’s been revealed by Deadline that Jenni Konner has renewed her overall deal with 20th Television.

Jenni is the co-showrunner and executive producer on the hit Netflix series, which is made by Disney’s 20th Television, and also an executive producer and director on the hit Hulu original series, “Deli Boys”, which returns for a second season later this year.

As part of this deal, she will continue to write, develop, direct and produce series for linear networks and streamers, with an emphasis on platforms across Disney Entertainment Television. Apparently, she already has several projects in various stages of development through her Jenni Konner Productions.

In a statement regarding the renewal, Jenni Konner said:

“I feel so lucky to be heading into my seventh year in the Disney family. What I love about 20th is how hands-on and supportive they are — true collaborators. My producing partner, Nora Silver and I have been energized by what we’ve built with them and we can’t wait to see what we all come up with next. I’m grateful to continue working with Dana Walden, Karey Burke, Eric Schrier, Jane Francis, Carolyn Cassidy and all of the talented people at Disney.”
