Disney has announced that the Searchlight Pictures film, “Nightbitch” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Friday, 24th January 2025, which will be the same day as when the film is also released on Disney+ in many other countries, including Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

The film tells the story of a woman who pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon, her new domesticity takes a surreal turn.

“Nightbitch” is based on the acclaimed debut novel by Rachel Yoder, and the movie has been written and directed by Marielle Heller.

Amy Adams was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role – Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes Awards for her role in the film. The Six-time Academy Award nominee stars alongside Scoot McNairy, as well as twins Arleigh and Emmett Snowden in their motion picture debut.

“Nightbitch” has been produced by Anne Carey, p.g.a, Marielle Heller, p.g.a., Sue Naegle, p.g.a., Christina Oh, Amy Adams, and Stacy O’Neil, with Megan Ellison, Allison Rose Carter, Havilah Brewster, Adam Paulsen, Sammy Scher and Rachel Yoder executive producing.

The film was released in cinemas in early December and was added to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States late last month.
