Disney is continuing to build out its new comedy “Hularious” brand, which will include a brand new stand-up comedy special being released each month on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.  Hulu has also licensed a collection of comedy specials.

The upcoming lineup of comedy specials includes Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka, Jessica Kirson and Chris Distefano.

THR has revealed that Disney has also picked up a new comedy special from Matteo Lane, which will be filmed at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica on October 24th 2024.  It will be part of his “Can’t Stop Talking Tour,” which kicked off earlier this summer.

No release details have been announced regarding the upcoming “Hularious” comedy specials have been revealed yet.

In a statement regarding the news, Matteo said:

“I am thrilled to be part of the Disney Hulu family. This is the closest I’ll get to becoming the 5th Golden Girl,”

He also confirmed the news on social media, stating it was “exciting news”.

Matteo has previously filmed two stand-up specials, “Hair Plugs & Heartache” and “The Advice Special”.  He has also appeared in Netflix’s “Survival of the Thickest”, “Stand Out”, “The Comedy Lineup” and Amazon’s “Upgraded”.  Matteo also states that he is a skilled artist and pasta aficionado, Matteo has also painted a mural for the Obamas’ headquarters in Chicago and trained as an opera singer in Rome.
