Disney has announced details on a brand new Korean original series called “Wonderful World”, which tells the story of Eun Soohyun, who will go to extraordinary lengths to exact revenge for the death of her son.

After a successful career that saw Eun Soohyun climb to the top of her field as a professor of psychology and a household name as a writer, she is brought crashing back to earth following the death of her son at the hands of others. Driven into a spiralling depression, Soohyun becomes consumed by one thought – revenge.

The series stars Kim Nam-joo, who has previously starred in “Queen of Housewives”, and it also stars K-pop star Cha Eun-woo, who has previously starred in “True Beauty” and “A Good Day to be a Dog”.  “Wonderful World” also stars Kim Kang-woo and Im Se-mi. 

It has been directed by Yi Seungyoung, who has previously directed “Tracer,” and “Voice 2″.  The series has been written by Kim Jieun, who has previously worked on “Lie After Lie,” and “Cheongdam-dong Scandal”.

“Wonderful World” will be released on March 1st 2024, as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world, and in the United States, expect to see this series released as a Hulu Original on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ at a later date.
