WorthenBrooks, formerly known as 20th Digital Studio, is developing a brand new horror film called “Mr Crocket.” The Studio has a first-look deal with Hulu.

This new film will tell the story of a mother who goes on a dangerous journey to get her son back when a demonic children’s show host begins kidnapping children.

It’s based on the Hulu Original short, that was released in 2022, and has been directed by Brandon Espy, and written by Carl Reid.  The movie is being produced by David Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian, Jenna Cavelle, and Carl Reid.

According to Deadline, Jerrika Hinton and Elvis Nolasco have joined the cast of “Mr Crocket”.   Jerrika has previously starred in Prime Video’s “Hunters” and ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy”, “A Man in Full” and “Servant,”.

Elvis previously starred in 20th TV’s “Godfather of Harlem”, “All American”, and “American Crime”.  Also joining the cast of the film are Ayden Gavin (Big George Foreman), Kristolyn Lloyd (Blue Bloods), and Alex Alomar Akpobome (Industry).

“Mr Crocket” is due to arrive later this year on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.  No international release details have been announced, but it’s likely it will be released as a Star Original on Disney+.
