New Details Revealed On Disney+ “Turner & Hooch” Series
New details have been revealed by Discussing Film about the upcoming Disney+ Original series “Turner & Hooch”.
The series has now entered pre-production and filming is set to begin on April 27 on location in Vancouver, Canada. With 20th Century Television producing the series for Disney+.
This new “Turner & Hooch” series will be written and executive produced by Matt Nix, who is the creator of ‘The Gifted’ and ‘Burn Notice’. 20th Century Television will produce the series.
The series is going to be a reboot of the classic Touchstone movie from 1989, which starred Tom Hanks. In the original movie, Scott Turner, played by Tomy Hanks, has 3 days left in the local police department before he moves to a bigger city to get some “real” cases, not just misdemeanors. Then Amos Reed is murdered, and Scott Turner sets himself on the case. The closest thing to a witness in the case is Amos Reed’s dog, Hooch, which Scott Turner has to take care of if it’s going to avoid being “put to sleep”.
The original “Turner & Hooch” movie is available to stream now on Disney+.
No official details on this series have yet been announced.
