During last year’s Disney+ Day, a brand new “WandaVision” spin-off series called “Agatha: House Of Harkness” was officially announced for the streaming service, which would see Kathryn Hahn return as Agatha Harkness.

So far, very little information about this series has been revealed.  But we do know that “WandaVision” Disney+ series’ head writer Jac Shaeffer will be working on the project, along with Peter Cameron, Laura Donney, and Cameron Squires as writers on the show.     It was also recently revealed that the series is being categorised as a comedy, and it’s being created for the 2023/2024 TV series season. Which would indicate that the series will be released in late 2023 or the first half of 2024.

Some new details have recently been revealed on a production grid which was obtained by industry insider Daniel Richtman , which states that filming on the series will be taking place from January 2023 through to May 2023, which could allow the series to fit in with the release window of late 2023/early 2024.

The DisInsider has also revealed some casting news for the upcoming Disney+ series.  The creative team is currently looking for someone to fill the role of Tyler, who will be one of the show’s leads.   They are looking for actors between the ages of 17-20.  The character is described as a White, American teen with a “formidable and dark sense of humour, incredibly witty, astute, and of the moment.”   The description also says that the character will also be a “fan-boy at times”, and he will be gay.

While the character description says “Tyler”, it’s not uncommon with castings listings that the real character’s name will be different.  The actual character description sounds similar to the teenage version of Wanda’s son, Billy Maximoff, aka Wiccan.  Or alternatively, the description could for be a new character, Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch, who is a wizard and a supervillain in the comic books.

Hopefully, Marvel Studios will provide an update on the “Agatha: House Of Harkness” Disney+ series at either the San Diego Comic-Con or the D23 Expo.

If you can’t wait and want a fix of Agatha, you can rewatch “WandaVision” now on Disney+.
