Disney is slowly filling out its new comedy brand, “Hulu’s Laughing Now,” which will consist of twelve stand-up comedy specials called ““Hularious,” being released each year, with one a month being released, starting in November. As part of Hulu’s new comedy brand, it’s also licensed a variety of specials from 800 Pound Gorilla, Comedy Dynamics, and Don’t Tell Comedy.

The first comedian announced to be taking part in the new “Hulu’s Laughing Now” lineup was Jim Gaffigan and over the past few months, it’s been revealed that Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka and Jessica Kirson, will also be getting a comedy special.

Disney has revealed that Chris Distefano has joined the lineup with “It’s Just Unfortunate”. This will be Chris’s third special, following this last special, “Speshy Weshy”, which was released on Netflix in 2022 and “Size 38 Waist” released on Comedy Central in 2019.

Chris previously worked as a present of MTV’s “Guy Code”, Vice TV’s “Super Maximum Retro Show” and Netflix’s “Ultimate Beastmaster”.

The upcoming special will see Jimmy Kimmel working as an executive producer

The new specials will launch in 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
