Disney has announced a brand new Brazillian series called “A Magia de Aruna”, which is going to be premiering on Disney+ in 2023.

The series is about a grey Rio de Janeiro where Mima lives, a teenager who tries to hide her strange power of hyperempathy in a world that is apart from magic that is experiencing a solar crisis. However, the challenge of an important competition will make her lose control of this mysterious power and when she walks away from her companions, Mima will reveal a spell performed 300 years ago, awakening three Guardian Witches.

Suzana Pires will play Bruma, a powerful and cold villain who is a CEO of a company that benefits from the twilight state of the city where they live by selling vitamin products to balance the climatic effects on people’s health.

Also starring in the series is Jamilly Mariano in the role of Mima,  Cleo will play the role of Cloe,  Erika Januza  is going to play Latifa,  with Gio Ewbank as Juno, among many others.
