Disney has announced that the 22nd season of the hit drama series, “NCIS”, will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland in the New Year.

“NCIS” (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it’s a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

The show stars Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Katrina Law, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, with Rocky Carroll and Gary Cole. The series is executive produced by Steven D. Binder, David J. North, Chas. Floyd Johnson, Mark Harmon, Scott Williams, Christopher J. Waild, Mark R. Schilz and created by Donald P. Bellisario.

While “NCIS” is produced by CBS Studios in association with Belisarius Productions, Disney has a unique situation in the United Kingdom, where it has the streaming rights to the show due to a previous deal created by the FOX channel, prior to Disney purchasing 20th Century Fox.

The new season will premiere on Wednesday, 8th January 2025, with a new episode being released weekly.   The previous 21 seasons of “NCIS” are also available to stream now on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland.  Many previous seasons, along with the spin-offs are also available on a variety of other platforms in the UK including Paramount+.
