With the awards season in full swing, the Annie Awards has announced its nominations for the 52nd annual awards, which will be taking place on February 8th 2025 at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Westwood. 

Disney has had a successful haul of nominations, with 36 nods for a variety of films and shows, including “Inside Out 2”, “Dream Productions”, “Marvel’s Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur”, “The Simpsons”, “Bob’s Burgers”, “Moana 2”, “Ariel”, “Iwájú, “Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes” and “X-Men ’97”.

Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” picked up seven different nominations, putting it in joint second place with “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” and behind “The Wild Robot”, which picked up ten nominations.   The new Disney+ series, “Dream Productions” also picked up six nominations, highlighting the strength of the “Inside Out” brand.
