Today, CBS has announced that it has renewed “NCIS” and “NCIS: Hawaii” for the 2023-2024 season, which means “NCIS” will return for its 21st season, and “NCIS: Hawaii” is returning for its third season. While the shows are available on Paramount+ in the US, both shows are released exclusively on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland, due to a previous contract involving the British FOX channel, which Disney acquired as part of the 20th Century Fox purchase

“NCIS ” (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it’s a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

“NCIS: Hawaii” focuses on Jane Tennant, who is the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor, and her unwavering team of specialists balance duty to family and country while investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security and the mysteries of the sun-drenched island paradise itself.

“This season CBS is continuing its winning tradition, delivering an unparalleled combination of top returning series and new hit shows that are entertaining huge audiences on both broadcast and streaming. It is a testament to the stellar work being done by our best-in-class talent in front of and behind the camera that we have had yet another exceptional season, and I know we will only continue to build on this foundation of outstanding programming as we look ahead toward next fall.”

Created by Donald P. Bellisario, NCIS is produced by Bellisarius Productions in associate with CBS Studios. Steven D. Binder, Chas. Floyd Johnson, Mark Horowitz, Mark Harmon, Scott Williams, David North and Bellisario serve as executive producers.

NCIS: Hawai’i stars Vanessa Lachey, along with Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson and Kian Talan. Series is produced by CBS Studios. Matt Bosack, Jan Nash, Christopher Silber and Larry Teng serve as executive producers.

New episodes of both shows are currently being released on Disney+ weekly in the UK and Ireland, with previous seasons also available to stream.
