“Nada” Starring Robert De Niro Trailer Released
Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming Latin American Original series, “Nada”, which stars Robert DeNiro and Luis Brandoni. The series tells the story of Manuel, a sophisticated culinary critic art lover and provocateur (his business card gives his name and says “nothing” underneath, thumbing his nose at professions and roles) has lived for decades with a woman who does everything for him, a sort of personal assistant, housekeeper and cook. One day she dies and he realises that he is incapable of doing anything for himself. Deciding to take in an untrained, naïve girl from Paraguay, he has to teach her from scratch about the countless aspects of his life (his relationships, personal tastes, culture, gastronomic preferences, etc.). This cultural and generational clash will lead to unusual, intense, contradictory and tender situations that will serve as a learning curve for both of them.

The series also stars Silvia Kutika, Enrique Piñeyro, Gastón Cocchiarale, Daniel Miglioranza, Pablo Novak, Belén Chavanne, Alejandro Paker, Rodrigo Noya, Ariadna Asturzzi, Cecilia Dopazo, Manuel Vicente and Daniel Aráoz.
“Nada” is produced by Metrovisión and has been written by Emanuel Diez, Mariano Cohn, and Gastón Duprat.
The five-episode will kick off the Culinary Zinema section at the 71st edition of the Festival taking place from September 22 to 30. The Star Original Productions’ new original dramedy is the first Latin American fictional series to be included in this festival’s section.
The five-episode series will be released on October 11th 2023, on Hulu in the United States, on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ in select markets. It will also be shown during the upcoming the upcoming 71st San Sebastián International Film Festival, which is taking place between 22nd–30th September 2023 in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, Spain.
