During a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro announced a new wave of action figures from the upcoming Disney+ Original series, “X-Men ’97”, which is due to arrive on the streaming platform later this year.

The new animated series from Marvel Studios explores new stories in the iconic 90s timeline of the original series. The head writer and executive producer on “X-Men ’97″ is Beau DeMayo. Supervising director is Jake Castorena and supervising producer is Charley Feldman. Also consulting on the new series are “X-Men: The Animated Series” producers and showrunners Eric and Julia Lewald, plus original series director Larry Houston.

The new range of action figures varies across different sizes and price points, including the more details Marvel Studios Legends figures and the more budget-friendly Epic heroes range featuring classic heroes such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Rogue and more.  There is also a huge Sentinel Titan Hero figure, plus a Blackbird toy and roleplay products.

The new  X-Men items are rolling out now through the rest of the summer, ready to be in stores for when the new series arrives on Disney+.  If you can’t wait for the new show, the classic animated series from the 90s is also available to stream now on Disney+.
