Marvel’s What If Confirmed For Second Season
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed some new details on the upcoming animated series, What If, which is coming to Disney+ in “year two” (November 2020 – 2021).
Marvel’s What If…? – is Marvel Studios’ first animated series, and takes inspiration from the comic books of the same name. Each episode will explore a pivotal moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turn it on its head, leading the audience into uncharted territory.
During a recent interview with Buzzfeed Brazil, Kevin Feige has confirmed that the first season of the show will consist of 10 episodes. So far we’ve seen episodes featuring Agent Carter becoming Captain Britain, T’challa becoming Star Lord and The Winter Soldier battles a Captain America Zombie.
It was confirmed by Kevin Feige, that the show has already been picked up for a second season.
“I’m very happy that we’re doing a What If…? series for Disney+ right now. I’ve seen most of them, we have 10 for season one and we’re already working on the next 10 for season two,”
He also has confirmed that the first episode will feature Captain Carter.
“The one where Peggy Carter gets the super soldier serum and becomes Captain Carter – that’s the very first episode. I’m excited for people to see that.”
