One of the most popular Disney+ Original shows of last year was Marvel Studios’ “Moon Knight”, which starred Oscar Issac as Steven Grant, who is a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life, he discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

Ever since the series ended, fans have been wanting to know when Moon Knight will be returning to our screens, either in a second season of “Moon Knight”, or teaming up in another show or film.

Recently, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, was asked about what he’s taken away from launching multiple shows on Disney+, giving a little update on the future of Moon Knight.

I hope we learn something on every project. I was very pleased with everything that we did. Kamala Khan, for instance, is a great new character in the pantheon. I’m very proud of the Ms. Marvel show. I also know — and this is a spoiler — she essentially steals The Marvels, which is coming out [July 28]. It makes me excited that people will, I hope, see that movie and then go back and revisit those shows on Disney+. The fun thing about streaming is they are there forever, and people can keep re-exploring them. Moon Knight, same thing. I think there’s a future for that character as we move forward.

While it still sounds very vague, it’s not surprising to see more of Moon Knight on our screens in the future, but where?  The addition of supernatural characters like Werewolf By Night and Man-Thing, opens some doors for Moon Knight’s return, plus with the upcoming Avengers movies, “Secret Wars” and “Kang Dynasty”, hopefully, it won’t be too long until we get an update soon.

In the meantime, you can watch the first season of “Moon Knight” on Disney+ now.
