Marvel’s Hawkeye Disney+ Series Due To Being Filming In September
Over the past few months there has been lots of rumors about the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, Hawkeye, being delayed or cancelled. The latest rumor from Murphy’s Multiverse, is that filming is due to start on the series in September.
It had been scheduled to start in July, but was pushed back, but it does mean it will now start production after Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk, have gone into production. With most of the filming scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently being filmed there at the moment.
The series will be written and executive produced by Jonathan Igla, who has previous worked on Mad Men. The show was announced at last years San Diego Comic Com and will see Jeremy Renner return to the screen to play Hawkeye. With Hailee Steinfeld currently the frontrunner to play Kate Bishop, though her current contract with Apple TV+ for Dickinson, might cause Disney to go with someone else.
Hawkeye is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ in Fall 2021.
