Margaret Qualley Pulls Out Of Hulu’s “Amanda Knox” Limited Series
20th Television is currently developing a new untitled limited series about Amanda Knox, which is due to begin filming in October. The series will tell the story of Amanda’s 16 year journey to set herself free after being wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher.
Recently it was revealed that Margaret Qualley was going to star as Amanda Knox, however, Deadline has revealed that she has pulled out of the project due to scheduling issues. Margaret was also set to be an executive producer on the project.
Margaret has previously starred in the Searchlight Pictures film, “Poor Things”, the Netflix series, “Maid” and the FX show, “Fosse/Verdon”.
The upcoming series is being written by KJ Steinberg, who will also be an executive producer. It is being produced by The Littlefield Company’s Warren Littlefield, Lisa Harrison, Ann Johnson, and Graham Littlefield. Monica Lewinsky, Knox, and Chris Robinson of Knox Robinson Productions are also set to executive produce the project.
This upcoming limited series will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
