Cast Revealed For FX’s “Snowflakes” Pilot
Earlier this year, it was announced that FX had ordered a new comedy pilot called “Snowflakes.” This twenty-something ensemble comedy follows a group of codependent housemates who try to be good people despite being neither “good” nor “people” yet.
Deadline has revealed the cast for the upcoming pilot, which will include Lucy Freyer (Paint), Malik Elassal, Owen Thiele (Dollface), Amita Rao and Jack Innanen (The Dessert).
Lucy will be playing the role of Billie, Malik will play Elassal, Owen will play Anton, Amita will play Issa, and Jack will play the role of Paul.
Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, who previously wrote for Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show,” are creating the new pilot and will be executive producers on the project.
Nick Kroll will produce it, and Karey Dornetto, who previously worked on “Awkafina Is Nora From Queens,” will be the showrunner. They are also both executive producers on the project, along with Alicia Van Couvering, who runs his Good at Business production banner and has a first-look deal with FX Productions.
The pilot is going to be directed by Jonathan Krisel, who has previously directed the FX pilot “English Teacher” and on the FX series, “Baskets”. Jonathan will also be an executive producer on the project.
FX Productions is creating the show, and should the pilot get picked up for a series, we should expect to see it released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.
