She will star alongside previously announced cast members Moore will play the daughter of the team owner, who will be played by William H. Macy. While Christopher Meloni will play the head coach.
Mandy has previously worked with Dan Fogelman on the hit series, “This Is Us” and she has also previously worked on Disney’s “Tangled” and “Dr Death”.
Christopher Meloni has previously starred in “SVU” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”, while William H. Macy has previously starred in “Shameless”, “ER” and “Jurassic Park 3”.
The project has gone through some delays due to the Paramount/Skydance merger, as the project is being developed with Skydance Sports, which has a joint venture with NFL Films to create a production studio for scripted and unscripted content.
Other executive producers on the project include Jess Rosenthal of Rhode Island Ave Productions, with David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, and Jason T. Reed for Skydance Sports.
