“Magic Of Disney Lookout Cay At Lighthouse Point” Coming Soon To Nat Geo, Hulu & Disney+
Earlier this summer, Disney opened its new private resort in the Caribbean for its Disney Cruise Line called Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. It is nestled on the southernmost tip of Eleuthera, where the deep-blue Atlantic Ocean meets the turquoise waters of the Bahamas.
Disney has announced a new National Geographic documentary, “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point,” which will reveal details on the making of this new resort.
A new story is unfolding on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, where locals and Disney Imagineers collaborate on an ambitious mission: create a sun-soaked cruise destination that is also a sustainable celebration of Bahamian culture, prioritizing the local people and wildlife. Trek, dive and dance with the team, bringing Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point to life as opening day approaches.
National Geographic has previously made documentaries about the Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World and the making of the new Disney Cruise ship, “Wish”.

Disney has announced that “Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point” will premiere on January 17th 2025 at 10/9c on National Geographic and it will also stream on February 17th 2025 on Disney+ and Hulu. No international Disney+ release details have been announced.
Roger’s Take: As someone who loves travelling on Disney’s Cruise Ships, I’d love to have the experience of visiting Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, so I’m certainly looking forward to watching this documentary. I’ve already seen plenty of YouTube videos from the initial launch of the island, which at least highlight some of the issues with the island, as generally, official documentaries don’t always reveal the negative issues.
