Disney has officially announced that “Love, Victor” will be released on Disney+ as a “Star Original” internationally in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and across Europe.

Set in the world of the original 2018 film Love, Simon, the series follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school.

Disney+ will be adding “Love, Victor” as part of it’s new “Star” brand on February 23rd.

The series was originally going to be a Disney+ Original, however, due to the show’s mature theme, “Love, Victor” was moved to Hulu in the United States.

Star becomes the home for general entertainment and will double the amount of content available to watch on Disney+. It will become home to thousands of hours of television and movies from Disney’s creative studios, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios and 20th Television.
