Disney has announced a brand new documentary from National Geographic called “Lost Treasures of the Bible” is coming soon to the National Geographic channel, Hulu and Disney+.

This immersive series follows archaeological teams across the Middle East as they embark on a new season of excavations, uncovering the cities and civilizations featured in the Bible. From the lost city of Exodus in Egypt to the epic Tower of Babel in Iraq, their discoveries shed new light on the Bible’s most famous stories. Stunning CGI and embedded cameras reveal treasures buried for millennia.

The first episode of “Lost Treasures of the Bible”, which is called “Nineveh – City of Sin”, will premiere on the National Geographic channel on December 19th 2024 at 9/8c.  In this episode, Archaeologists make new discoveries in Nineveh, the Bible’s city of sin.

The second episode is called “Noah’s Great Flood”, will premiere on December 26th 2024 at 9/8c on the National Geographic channel and will see new discoveries unlock the origins of the Bible’s Flood story.

Both episodes will be released on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States on December 20th 2024.
