“Las Largas Sombras” Coming Soon To Disney+
Disney has announced details on a brand new Spanish Original series, “Las Largas Sombras”, which is a new six-episode thriller that reflects on the weight of guilt and how the friendship of a group of friends evolves over the years.
It tells the story of a group of women whose lives are stable is suddenly shaken by the appearance of the remains of one of their high school classmates, who disappeared during the end-of-course trip to Mallorca twenty-five years earlier.
The series also features a female team both in front and behind the cameras. It stars Elena Anaya, Belén Cuesta, Irene Escolar, Marta Etura, Itziar Atienza, Ana Rayo and Lorena López. The cast includes Isa Montalbán, Lucía Carballal, Andrea López, Marina Orta, Miriam Rubio, Ana de Alva and Laura Wedel. Also starring in the series are Jorge Usón, Roger Casamajor, Juan Blanco, Nansi Nsue, and Fran Nortes.

The series has been produced by José Manuel Lorenzo (DLO Producciones) and has been written by Clara Roquet with Miguel Sáez Carral, Adrio P. Xancó, Lucía Carballal and Estíbaliz Burgaleta.

The show was filmed last summer for thirteen weeks in different locations in the Valencian Community, Elda, Benidorm, La Falla de Moraig, Denia, Altea and Madrid.
“Las Largas Sombras” will be released on Disney+ in Spain on May 10th 2024. As with other international originals, expect this show to be released globally on Disney+ and likely as a Hulu Original in the United States on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
