“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” Removed From Disney+ (US)
With the start of a new month, unfortunately, for Disney+ subscribers, some titles are removed due to deals made prior to Disney purchasing 20th Century Fox. And Disney has kicked off March with the removal of the 20th Century Studios film, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”.
The film tells the story of what happens after a series of misunderstandings; Alvin, Simon, and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami…and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.
It stars Jason Lee, Tony Hale, Kimberly Williamss-Paisley, Josh Green, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Anna Faris, and Christina Applegate.
“Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” is now available to stream on Max in the United States, and it will remain there for a limited time; once it has completed its contract, it will return to Disney+. Internationally, the movie is still available to stream on Disney+.
Unfortunately, unlike other streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t inform subscribers in advance that a removal is going to be happening.
