Disney’s 20th Century Studios is slowly putting the cast together for an upcoming heist-thriller called “Eenie Meanie”, which is being directed and written by Shawn Simmons, who has recently worked on the John Wick spin-off, “The Continental”.

The upcoming film will star Samara Weaving as Edie, a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavoury past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend, whom Karl Glusman plays.

Deadline has reported that Kyanna Simone and Randall Park have joined the cast in supporting roles, though no details on what characters they will be playing have been revealed.

Kyanna Simone has recently wrapped filming on a new Searchlight Pictures movie, “The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat” and has previously starred in HBO’s “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”.

Randall Park has previously starred in the Marvel Disney+ series, “WandaVision”, along with “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who previously worked on the Deadpool films, are producing the upcoming film.

According to multiple sources, this upcoming film is likely going to premiere on Disney’s streaming services, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.  It’s still possible that the film will be released theatrically since Disney has changed its plans for many recent releases.
