“Killer Vacation” Aka “Últimas Férias” Coming Soon To Disney+ (UK/IE/CA/AU/NZ)
Disney has announced that the Latin American original series, “Últimas Férias” aka “Killer Vacation”, is going to be coming Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, on Wednesday, 8th November 2023, which is the same day as when the show will be released on Star+ in Latin America and Hulu in the United States.
The series tells the story of Malu, Luiz, Bruno, Marcos, Eric, Ana, and Inês, who are friends and club athletes who are preparing to move on to different colleges at the end of the year. They decide to spend their last vacation together on an island paradise. Despite the enthusiasm, they soon realize nothing will be as expected. When they arrive at Malu’s parents’ house, they are surprised by Vicente, the caretaker, who points his gun at them in a misunderstanding which is soon resolved. To lighten the mood, Luiz proposes the “drinking games,” a tournament with tasks they must fulfill to recover their “confiscated” phones. The seemingly innocent fun escalates parties, games, and disputes, which strain relationships and reveal vicious secrets. When the body of one of them is found lifeless at sea, everyone becomes a suspect to the police.
All eight episodes will be released at once. The show has been developed by Pampa Films and has been created by Santigo Gardinetti. The show has been directed by Lieff, Flavia Mazzberg, Flavio Barone and the Duo 2 (João Dornelas & Pedro Pereira). It has been written by José Francisco Tapajós, Flavia Kamenetz, Martin Caama?o, Azahara Martín-Ortega, Santiago Gardinetti and Rodrigo Lages. “Killer Vacation” stars Lara Tremouroux, Filipe Bragança, Ronald Sotto, João Oliveira, Michel Joelsas, Luana Nastas and Julianna Gerais.
