New details have been revealed for the upcoming Disney+ Original series, Turner & Hooch, which is a reboot of the 1980’s movie starring Tom Hanks, which saw him team up with a large, slobbery dog called Hooch, who had witnessed his owners murder and they track down who killed him.

The new series will see Drake & Josh star Josh Peck in the lead role of U.S. Marshal Scott Turner.   This series has been given a formal series order, which will also consist of 12 episodes, each around an hour long.   Josh also took to Instagram to confirm the news.

No release date has yet been revealed for when it will be coming to Disney+.
