“Jessica Jones” Coming Soon To Disney+
Following the removal of Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” series from Netflix, Disney has now confirmed that both seasons of “Jessica Jones” will be coming to Disney+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand on Wednesday 16th March 2022.
After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.
Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) is joined by an amazing cast including David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (“Twilight”, “Dexter”) and Liz Friedman (“Elementary”), along with Jeph Loeb (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Smallville,” “Heroes”), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.
The show is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios.
Since the series is rated 18+, Disney+ subscribers in the US will be releasing an update to its Parental Controls that will prompt all subscribers to update their settings. This won’t apply in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or Canada, since parental controls already are enabled for 18+ content.
“Jessica Jones” will also be available across all other Disney+ markets later this year.
