Disney has announced that the new season of “Dancing With The Stars” will return at 8pm ET on Tuesday, 26th September 2023, on ABC, moving from its typical Monday slot due to the Monday Night Football airing on the ABC channel.   Last year, the show was streamed live exclusively on Disney+ in the United States and Canada, and this year, the show will be the first show ever to simulcast live on both ABC and Disney+.  The show will also be available the following day on Hulu.  For the premiere, there will also be a special “Dancing With The Stars” version of “Celebrity Family Feud” airing after it.

Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, the hit series pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. The show is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.

Disney will be revealing the full lineup for the upcoming season on Good Morning America on Wednesday, but so far, we know that “Vanderpump Rules” Ariana Madix and “The Bachelorette‘s” Charity Lawson will be competing.  Plus, it’s been announced that Jamie Lynn Spears (Britney’s sister) will also be taking part in this year’s contest and teaming up with Alan Bersten.
