Lucasfilm is currently developing a brand new Star Wars Disney+ series called “Ahsoka”, which is a “Mandalorian” spin-off series that will see Rosario Dawson return in the lead role of Ahsoka, who has previously appeared in the “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels” animated series.

According to Deadline, Ivanna Sakhno has been cast in the upcoming Disney+ series. She has recently appeared in “Pacific Rim: Uprising”, “The Spy Who Dumped Me” and in the “High Fidelity” series. She will apparently be playing a brand new character.

It was recently revealed that Natasha Liu Bordizzo will also be starring in the series as Sabine Wren.

The new “Ahsoka” series is going to be set in the same time period as “The Mandalorian”.

After making her long-awaited live-action debut in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano’s story, written by Dave Filoni, will continue in a limited series starring Rosario Dawson and executive produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau.
