This new video teases a cameo from Captain America, as the iconic shield flies in near the end. This won’t be the first time Captain America has appeared in the X-Men series, as the character appeared in the fifth season in an episode called “Old Soldiers,” which featured a flashback to when Wolverine teamed up with Captain America to take on the Red Skull.
The new teaser also hints at a battle with Wolverine and Nightcrawler side by side, plus Storm is preparing for war.
The first five episodes of “X-Men ’97” and the original “X-Men” animated series are available on Disney+, with a new episode dropping each week on Wednesdays.
