Imogen Reid To Star In Upcoming Untitled Orphan Limited Series
ABC Signature Studios is developing an Untitled Orphan Project, which is going to be an eight-episode limited series that has been created and written by Katie Robbins (The Affair).
Inspired by the true story of the Midwestern couple who adopts what they believe is a little girl with dwarfism. As they begin to raise her alongside their three biological children, they slowly start to believe she may not be who she says she is. As they question her story, they’re confronted with hard questions of their own about the lengths they’re willing to go to defend themselves, falling into a battle that’s fought in the tabloids, the courtroom, and ultimately their marriage.
The series will star Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy), who will be playing the mother in the series, and she will also be an executive producer on the show.
According to Deadline, Imogen Reid has joined the cast of the upcoming untitled orphan limited series and will be playing the main character of a young girl with a rare form of dwarfism.
Imogen Reid has previously worked on “Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them: The Crimes Of Grindelwald”, BBC’s “Les Miserables”, and “The Third Day”.
The project has been in development for over 18 months. Katie Robbins, will also be an executive producer on the series, along with Erin Levy, who will also be the showrunner of the project. Laura Holstein, Mike Epps, Dan Spilo and Niles Kirchner will also be executive producers on the series.
The series will be released on Hulu in the United States, and we should expect to see the limited series released as a Star Original on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ internationally.
