Hulu Original “Shoresy” Renewed For A Third Season
Just ahead of the premiere of the second season of the Hulu Original “Shoresy”, Crave has announced that it has ordered a third season of the hockey comedy show. Currently in its second season, “Shoresy” continues to be the number one Canadian scripted series on Crave.
The series follows the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan-favourite character, Shoresy, and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO).
“Shoresy” has been created, executive produced, written, and stars Jared Keeso in the title role. It also stars Tasya Teles, Harlan Kytwayhat, Blair Lamora, Keilani Rose, Jonathan-Ismael Diaby, Terry Ryan, Ryan McDonell, Max Bouffard, Andrew “The Canon” Antsanen, Jon “Nasty” Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, Jordan Nolan, Keegan Long, and Bourke Cazabon.
According to the official press release, production on all six episodes of the third season is set to begin in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in November. Since this show is produced in Canada by New Metric Media in association with Play Fun Games, it’s not as impacted by the ongoing actor’s strike in the United States. The series is created with the help of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit and the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, and is distributed by WildBrain, hence why its not available on Disney+ around the world.
Both seasons are available to stream on Crave in Canada and the second season of “Shoresy” arrives on Hulu this coming Friday 27th October 2023 and hopefully, it won’t be too long until the third season arrives.
