Hulu Orders New Limited Series “Count My Lies”

20th Television is developing a brand new limited series called “Count My Lies”, which is based on the hit debut novel by Sophie Stava.

Hulu has ordered the project as a series and will star Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley, who will both be executive producers along with “This Is Us” executive producers/co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

“Count My Lies” tells the story of what happens when compulsive liar Sloane Caraway (Woodley) fibs her way into a nanny position for the gorgeous and charismatic Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart. It seems she’s finally landed her dream job. But little does Sloane know, she’s just entered a household brimming with secrets that are about to explode — with potentially catastrophic consequences for all.

Lindsay Lohan has worked with Disney on many projects, including “The Parent Trap”, “Freaky Friday” and most recently, on its sequel, “Freakier Friday”.

Shailene Woodley has also worked with Disney on a number of projects, including the upcoming second season of “Paradise” and “The Fault In Our Stars”. She has also worked on HBO’s “Big Little Lies” and “The Divergent” movies.

No other details on the upcoming limited series, such as who else will appear in the show or when it is likely to be released on Disney+ and Hulu.
